Cape Verde?

Anyone been to Cape Verde on holiday?

Wondering what the best place to stay for a bar and beach holiday is?

And are the hotels in town or complexes like the Caribbean?

Want a lazy lie around the beach or pool and some nice bars to get tanked up in on a night..

We also like a wander round during the day...

Thanks,
Steve

Hi been there twice, visited the island of Boa Vista to one of the two RIU hotels, not many hotels on the island and nothing going on outside the hotel, slap bang on the beech and many themed restaurants and in house bars, nice lazy beech/pool side holiday and will visit again.

You can get tanked up the many bars in the hotel, but again nothing outside but beech send desert. One hotel wS the Toureg and the other was the Karanboa, have look on trip advisor.

On Tripadvisor I am pretty sure you will find a Cape Verde Forum where somebody will give you more info.

A quick search http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/ShowForum-g293774-i9523-Cape_Verde.html

It is also work checking out wikitravel http://wikitravel.org/en/Cape_Verde
