Help identifying a diesel engine
Thought I'd see if the LCB collective can identify this v8 turbo diesel engine. Used on a generator at a decommissioned MOD site. Guessing
it's something from the 80s? My googling skills are failing me!

It looks like a Dorman engine to me, possibly 8JT model.

Your welcome. I rebuilt one about 6 years ago for a customer. Good solid strong engine

Fun trying to shift a lump like that if so (must weigh a fair bit).
