Insurance While Building a KIT -NOT ON YER HOUSE

I have just spoke to my House insurance company and they say that my Kit is un-insured while being built in the garage.

Yet the garage contents are covered up to 2K, but because it "Looks like a CAR" or "Will Look like a Car" it is not covered. Even though it is not finished.

There fore if the garage collapes or goes on fire, or the kit is stolen I'm not covered.

Where do I stand?
What have other people done?
Can I do Anything about this?
Who do you reccommend?

Scot's do it better in Kilts.
