ANOTHER GARAGE INCIDENT

Thought i'd pull my finger out this morning and finish off the plumbing on the old pinto, didnt take long and looked good too.

Checked for leaks and then run the engine up to heat, bit more water and bit of antifreeze all is well.

While engine was ticking over i thought,i know i'll have a little drive up and down the garage.

While sat in the seat checking dials and generally messing around, hose from water pump to expansion got hotter dropped on zorst and ............. well you know the rest.

Not in the same league as hicost, but still gets your pulse racing a bit.always wondered how fast i could get out of the thing in an emergency.

Anyhow,lesson learnt.
1/ allways tie your pipes up
2/ maybe braided pipes are an idea when running accross the hot bits.

I'll be shopping for a metre of 5/8 braided this week i think.
