Any ideas what I could get for it?

Hi all.

Time has come when I need to consider the sale of the striker. Just wondering how much people think it may be worth, and whether there is much of a market for them second hand. I'll try and list what it has.

2007 striker, SVA'd august (passed first time)

Genuine 750 miles

Fully rebuilt X/flow bored to 1680, piper cam, running on webber twin 40's. Ported and polished.

Micron Carbon exhaust

escort discs on the front, big capri drums on the rear.

Team dynamics 15" alloys in matt black

Brand new dash just fitted, Acewell speedo, Autometer rev counter with seperate shift light. no stalks on the column, all be removed and replaced with toggles on dash

Spax coilovers all round

currently carpeted interior with GRP lightweight seats (possibly changing seats soon to leather cobras)

Reconditioned 2000E box (only done 750 Miles)

Escort live axle

Car spent 3 weeks at Raw Engineering where it had over £3000 spent on it, where it had full new bodywork, in kawasaki green and black, full new wiring loom, doors and other bits and pieces.

High torque starter

Fuel CAT (means you can use normal unleaded) some people are a bit dodgy about using these but I found it to be great, and the company will replace your engine if it gets knackered due to using unleaded!

Can't really think of much more!

Thanks in advance, and if anyone knows anyone who may be interested, it'll be on the market in a few months!

I'm rubbish on computers so dont know how to add an image, but there are oldish ones of it in my archive.

Na mate not worth much at all, i'll bung you £100 and take it off your hands for you as a favour!
Seriously though, i think the Striker is a lovely little car and was at the top of my list of kits to buy for my second project until i discovered the world of LOCOST! You'll have no trouble shifting it.

Thanks for adding the picture! So any ideas of figures I should be asking?

Alex.

put finger in the air - between £ 4 to £ 6 k.

Good pointers are kit car mag classifieds, striker forum, piston heads and ebay selling prices.
