which bike carbs for a pinto
i am currently running a 2.1 ltr pinto with a 285 cam megajolt and twin 40 dhla "n"s
and i am having problems with a flat spot when i open the throttle quickly
i have been told that the "n" means the carbs came off a emission controled car probably a alfa and i will never get them right.
i have tried a few different jets and ignition mapps but i am coming to the idea it would be better to change them and get some bike carbs
so what would you recomend or what are you ussing

Im using ZZR1100 carbs. Seem to be a cheaper option.

ZX6Rs would be a good choice.
I'm using them on a 2.0 Zetec.

carb spacing
did you split the carbs and respace them or does the manifold come in to suite the standard spacing of the carbs as i plan to make my own manifold and
i would prefer to split the carbs if possable as it would make the manifold easier to make
any one got any photos of the carbs installed

This is mine , zx9r carbs on a home made manifold the engine is a 2.1 pinto with piper 285 cam

Mine are split and respaced. I didn't bother with a proper manifold - just used the standard bike carb rubbers bolted to a piece of 5mm ali
plate cut to shape.

hello stu do you have a photo you could put up as your way is the one i like best
i want to see what angle i need to have the carbs so the floats are level
