Aries Motorsport Sierra Diff mounting

Has any body any pictures of an aries motorsport sierra rear diff mounted, looking to get a few views of the brackets / mounts please. Any help would be great, thanks in advance.





UNDERSTEER is when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
OVERSTEER is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
HORSEPOWER is how fast you hit the wall.
TORQUE is how far you take the wall with you.

Nope, sorry. Just checked my photos and I've got everything but!
I'm not sure how much would be accessible now due to the fuel tank etc but what exactly are you after and I'll see if I can get some at the weekend. IIRC, there are two brackets that locate the diff; one that supports the rear and one that goes forward into the end of the tunnel. Both of these are bolted in through rubber "doughnuts" to isolate the diff.

Just fitted mine, these are the best photos I can take while it's fitted.

If these aren't any good lets me know and I'll see if I can take some more.

Not wanting to poop on anyones blanket, but IMHO the diff mounting arrangement on the STM/Aries chassis is pants. The brackets offer poor location and the rubber donuts are a waste of time.
Had all sorts of issues with mine, bolts coming loose, the diff twisting under load etc.

In the end i solid mounted the diff and it is 100% better. i thought vibes might be a problem without the rubbers but not so.

If i remember will take some pics tomorrow of how i mounted it.

This is how i did mine, photos a bit crap, but basically there is a bottom tube welded across the chassis that picks up the bottom diff mount holes. You drop the diff in and then attach the two top mounts using bolts, simples!
back end feels planted now, it was always a bit vague using the STM brackets as the diff moved around under load.
