WILWOOD group buy at RMD
Hi, am going to buy a pair of Powerlites next week and have spoken to Rally Design about discount on group purchase.
They can offer a £10 per caliper discount on Powerlites and Dynalites.
This depends on having a minimum of 6 calipers (3 sets) on Powerlites and 4 on Dynalites.
Is anyone interested ?
I can collect them or maybe get RMD to post to your address.
Am in Maidstone, Kent but do travel a fair bit with work (Kent, Sussex, etc) so could possibly deliver if your close.
Not sure of best way to do the money side, maybe RMD can take payment over phone from anyone interested while I'm there.
Send U2U if interested but really need to sort this by the end of next week.
Cheers all,
Tony

Can you find out how much a kit for sierra hubs (front) would be? Discs, calipers, pads etc. I was going to buy a kit a bit later on but if they are
a bit cheaper i'll get them now.

Think your probably looking at about 30/40 quid off calipers/discs/pads.
Check out Rally Design website for price and just knock off £10 per caliper, approx £10/15 from discs/pads

Link was handy cheers, will phone them again. Sounds as if we get a list of people wanting to bulk buy, then send this to RMD and then just pay
individually. This sounds so much less complicated.
I am happy to compile and send the list, anyone interested can phone RMD with their queries and then U2U me with name, what you need and phone no.
to see if we can get enough people to make it worthwhile.
Maybe a bigger discount for more orders.

Hi Ivan, would like to get mine for bankholiday weekend, but looking at other threads of group buys the guys at RMD are pretty flexible. If we can get
them a list by the end of next week i think they will give us a few weeks after that to pay for our own items.

A guy from RMD (fairly senior IIRC) is actually registered on here and he posted when I was trying to organise a group buy on Quaife diffs (which
never got off the ground due to lack of interest but anyway).
I'll dig out his username...
EDIT, it's:
ghostrain
and he's:
Dave Elderfield
MD.Rally Design Ltd
So you could U2U him. Be polite though as I don't know if he wants to remain anonymous on here or not - he U2U'ed me originally...

If you need specific prices you will need to contact Rally Design yourself and ask for the group discount price, but we will need to let them know
numbers if we can. I am happy to go down with a list.

Do you have a price on a set of M1144's pads only (already have the calipers from a previous GB) for powerlites?

Im interested, but not if the discount is only a tenner.
"Breaker" also asked a question Here which is the same as the one i
was going to ask.
Need some more info before i commit. You need to ask RD what their discount ould be per set if you rustled up 5, 10 or 15 buyers. Then you might
attract more interest still.
Kindest Regards,
Richard.

First call I had with them they quoted £10 per caliper + extra discount on discs & pads.
Names on list going down 2moro is growing, hopefully 10 sets.
Did'nt want to call them to get individual quotes on everyones different requirements, just really needed numbers of people seriously looking to
buy.
Name on list does'nt commit you to anything but will help to haggle better deal.
Will post details of discounts when I get home. Am hoping for £40/50 discount per brake kit.
Will be going with my best haggling head on...
