Sierra diff and driveshafts

Due to a change of plan, I have a Sierra diff and pair of driveshafts for sale.

Diff is 7" 3.92 open with bolt-on lobro stubs, in good working order.
Shafts are in need of a clean up and just need a pair of inner CV joints to make this all complete.

£100 plus courier delivery at cost.

Didn't think I'd be tripping over these for this long - no one interested, or am I way out on price?

I had to give away my old open diff when I swapped to lsd

Ha, I decided to do something different entirely - hence sale.

I'm happy to sell the shafts separately to the diff.

ok then, how much for the Diff shipped to me EX31 1QN

I got the shafts in my build, but the one of the bearings on the output of my diff has died and I need a diff

only just learnt that the bolt flange things are available in 2 different sizes

what size are these, will have to measure mine tonight, I currently got 7.5" 3.92 diff in there, really wanted something closer to 3.6 ratio, but just need it on the road so I can get to work etc. cant be too fussy

Tony,

The 7" diff has 100mm lobro joints. I think the 7.5" diff may be 108mm though?

I think the difference between 7" and 7.5" is in the mounts, and not the shafts - but would recommend you were to check that.

Courier for the diff is £10.

just been out and measured the dia of the output flanges and they are 100mm, so Im assumign thats correct

please advise best price for the diff and shipping.

If the other guy doesnt want the shafts, then I might be able to raise a bit more cash and look at the lot, but in total honesty Im totally broke and having to borrow some money to even get the diff.

The 3.62 Might be a LSD.. Check carefully on the serial numbers and especially the letters.

it is LSD from a 2wd cosworth, but the guy measured it last night while on the phone and reckons it 108mm outputs

but then he said oh it might be 100mm, Ive only got an imperial ruler and its faded LOL

I really dont want LSD, its a bad thing in trikes, but 3.62 is the ratio I need, I realley also wanted 7" instead of 7.5".

but beggers cant be fussy

A huge genuine thank you

you never know with the internet if your gonna get stiffed or ripped off.

but boy oh boy is this seller a good one

Diff has just arrived, its in excellent condition bioth visually and physically, no play or horrible feeling in it

and its so much smaller than my nasty knackered 7.5"

many many thanks

I know its not a lot of cash to some people, but it was to me, and the excitement Im feeling right now is great.

I cant wait to get to work on it at the weekend, cutting out the old mounts and getting this unit in place

Thanks Tony - glad it made to you in one piece.

Note that the previous owner removed the rear cover, so remember to seal and torque it before you put oil in!
