Seat belts need adjusting/replacing
Friend of mine has given me some Willians Race Seat belts for my kit. They are FIA approved but out of date. They are nearly new and replacements
are £300!!!!! However I am not sure what car they have come out of but the lap belt portion of the belts are none adjustable and they are very short.
I am not fat at all but I can barely make the belts adjust to me. The lap belts are connected to the car via two plates that bolt together and clamp
the strap.
I'd ideally like replacement straps or somehow lengthen the straps to accommodate a adjustable section. Any ideas?
All this needs to go through the IVA?

Hi
I believe the date is only required for racing and not IVA (could be wrong through) I'm sure someone can confirm.
If you don;t want to spend a lot how about something like these which are adjustable

The two plate arrangement on the lap bels are most commonly used on single seater harnesses.

IVA is not concerned about the age its more concerned about the condition
