IVA pass

Had my re-test today. I did get quite wet driving it there this morning! It did pass, so was worth it!

Thanks to those who offered advice on my collapsible boss issue. The Sierra wheel did do the trick, as suggested.

I also used a db killer to lower the noise having seen a previous recommendation from Russbost. It didn’t drop the reading as much I thought it may, but it was enough!

Just the registration to sort now, and that’ll be another Stylus on the road.

Congratulations & glad to have been of help

The dB killer has more effect with some wadding behind it, but you probably won't be too bothered now you have a pass!

Also worth remembering that dB is on a log scale, so just a couple of dB adjustment is actually quite a major chunk of noise

I no longer run Furore Products or Furore Cars Ltd, but would still highly recommend them for Acewell dashes, projector headlights, dominator headlights, indicators, mirrors etc, best prices in the UK! Take a look at http://www.furoreproducts.co.uk/ or find more parts on Ebay, user names furoreltd & furoreproducts, discounts available for LCB users.
Don't forget Stainless Steel Braided brake hoses, made to your exact requirements in any of around 16 colours. http://shop.ebay.co.uk/furoreproducts/m.html?_dmd=1&_ipg=50&_sop=12&_rdc=1
