I've been very very bad .......

I wasn't going to start my next project till next summer - once I've finished the house. But a bargain came up locally and it was obviously just 'meant to be'

I've been planning to build a Silva Stylus next time, pretty car, handles well, lots of weather protection and doors for the wife! Hopefully more usable than the old BEC seven.

One's come up for sale about 15 miles away as a rolling chassis with unpainted but fitted body, build by Silva using all new parts, has almost everything but engine (has diff and prop) windscreen, carpets and dash. Even the loom is in.

So now I'll have a project in the garage which I can't spend all more £££ on till the house is finished, how hard is that going to be but it looks like I've saved myself around £5k which is fantastic

It's usually in one of those 'special' clubs you go to in Brighton you say that isn't it?

-YEAH RIGHT!

just wait, those little bits will creep in to fill up the garage and you'll be out there every day, just to make sure its still there

Jasper,
You left a 3.5minute voicemail on my phone last night.
Don't worry, I won't publicise what was going on...
...but I think you must have been in one of those clubs with your high-heals at the time!

Cheers,
James

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Hi adrian

Thanks for the links - already have them in the favourites! Went out with a few Stylus chaps last night - not quite locosters that's for sure! Though I had long ride in one - and wha a joy it was, warm, dry, not windy, could even have a conversation at 70mph! And the one I went in had a 240bhp rover v8 so went well as well. Altogether exactly the experience I wanted!

Anyway - nice windows, I may need to check those out later.

Luck for me the body has all been fitted at the factory, including doors, flip front and boot - ready for paint.
