Oil Cooler position

Silimar vain to the intercooler question previously...

What's the best position for an oil cooler, in front or behind the rad? On the donor the oil cooler was kinda below and in front of the rad but I'd need a +10 nosecone for the same setup as the donor!

As an aside, which has the greatest cooling affect on the engine?

Cheers,

Graham

I did read that ideally the oil cooler should be behind the radiator. But as you say, there are plenty of production cars with the oil cooler in front of the rad. Didn't have room for mine behind so I've mounted it in front right at the top.
