Phase 3 Zetec Sump

Does anyone know if you can buy a shortened phase 3 sump and pickup? (just the lower steel part)

I know you can fit a silvertop sump and pick up pipe to a phase 3 because i have, because it looks a bit of a pip cutting a phase 3 down, hope this helps.

What way did you baffle it?
I was thinking of somthing similar, how did it work?
Any problems when you ran the engine?
What volume of oil did youget into it?

1, I put 2 laterial baffles in it, plus drilled drain holes in the raised section that i extended into.

2, I honestly can't say as i haven't run it yet.

3, Ditto

4, The volume is the same as i extended to aft section to make up for what i removed.

Cheers for the info.

I was going to buy the tiger era one or one of the modified ones but they are mad money, so I think I'll go with a chop on the steel part instead.

Do you have any photos of the inside?

What depth will you have hanging below the chassis?

No sorry I didn't photo the inside.
It's hanging 30mm below the chassis rails, level with the gearbox bellhousing.
