Will be watching.
I also got his autobiography for Christmas.
But some bugger has scribbled their name inside it!

Jacko, you beauty.

All my lad is into is boxing and Taekwondo, no real interest in cars or bikes, I just can't figure him out

But lately he's taken an interest in Guy Martin and his programs, I'm hoping he's the turning point !

I love Guy martin, not in the smutty way!

He is the modern day Fred Dibna

passionate about all he does, he is a cracking watch, funny, but serious
and has more 10mm spanners than I do

Thats was probably spelt wrong, or had some grammer, that the "grammer police have to have a moan at

I quoted him once as being "Fred Dibnah on acid"

Mad as a box of frogs but good for TV.

I had a flick through the book in WHSmiths.. Put it down, when one chapter was titled, something like "invited to an orgy" transpired that he basically watched on, as a freind had sex I the back of a van. Not exactly an orgy!

Whilst I have the utmost respect for his riding and love of machines, I think some of the TV stuff he's done recently has been 'entertainment over substance' pykes peak was good but many of his speed chalenges have been badly thought out and poorly executed. Examples:
Cycling on sand for a speed record, got the record but given the prep and machinery, anywhere on tarmac/concrete would have resulted in a better result.

Hydro Skimming on a 100ft deep lake, again why! Go somewhere recovery is easier when you ditch the bike.

Sledging, set the brake in front of the centre of gravity!

As I said, respect for his balls but the above aren't hindsight mistakes, there obvious for anyone technically minded.
Almost 'top gear special' but with balls

So for all that have watched it. . . .

How many 10mm spanners do you own!?!

Me, 4. Im my regular tool box. More scattered in other places. Im not like guy with a tool box the size of a kitchen sideboard. Im more of a scatter them around kind of guy!

Check out the first car in this video for a novel way of using a Merlin engine... and some of the other restorations are worth looking at, as well. Amazing what you can do when you have heaps of money, a vast garage and mechanics at your beck and call.

And playing with his spanners.
