My 2 litre 205 block rebuilt pinto FR33 cam throttle bodies

My engine is coming out at the end of august to make way for the duratec. It is still fitted to the car and can be seen running.

It was fully stripped and rebuilt by myself before installing in my GTS and has since covered 5750 miles.

Throttle bodies included in the sale too along with fuel rail.

Basically this will be a drop in engine and gearbox combo for someone. All you will need to get it running is either a megasquirt ECU or a set of carbs (in which case I will keep the throttle bodies and knock some money off). If you go the MS route I will give you a copy of my map for a starting point.

I will include engine mounts in the sale minus the rubber blocks.

Only ever run on Castrol Edge fully synthetic oil, and changed every 1500miles without fail

205 block
Shortened sump - professionally TIG welded
Modified rocker cover
Rebuild from a bare block - all water ways and oil ways cleaned and new core plugs fitted
All new bearings including cam, crank and big end bearings
Honed, new rings - no measurable bore wear
Polished crank journals
Lightened std flywheel
New std clutch
New water pump
82deg stat fitted
High flow, high pressure kent cams oil pump - oil pressure 110psi @ 2500rpm
Unleaded head
Ported according to Des Hamills book - exhaust ports opend out, short turns modified, valve spot faces removed
Kent Cams FR33 cam kit fitted
Vernier cam pulley
New H&H ignition solutions vacuumless electronic distributor (HHS016E) and coil - set up for engine (worth £250 alone)
GSXR600 throttle bodies on weber carb manifold with billet machined adpator plates (manifold matched to head)
Refurbed std alternator on custom bracket to clear chassis

Clean standard Type 9 gearbox also included in GWO.

Not sure on the BHP as its not been on a rolling road, but I know it will keep up with a ZX9 and R1 BEC's.

Engines of this spec without the throttle bodies and electronic H&H dizzy usually fetch over £1k on ebay, but I would rather it go to a good home on here so:

£850 gets it. Obviously its collection only.

Lots of rebuild pics HERE

Not meaning to hijack your thread but trying to add an option to your purchaser, if anyone would prefer bike carbs then I would swap a set of fireblade ones on a custom manifold with a TPS and a bike pump for the TBs and manifold! These are currently jetted for a similar engine but with a big valve head. I can send a photo if anyone wants.
(also available is a brand new megajolt with all the bits needed)
Cheers
Andrew
