Lambda sensor

Hi Huys,

|Could anyone tell me if my lambda sensor protection is good enough for IVA or will I have to have a re think?

You need a sphere of the right size (is this the 100mm or the bigger sphere in this area) to see if it is contactable.

If it can be contacted then it would fail. You could try putting a length of silicon hose over the sensor. That stuff is good to 200deg C so should not decompose with the heat and will stop it being too much of an edge.

Many thanks Matt,

I have sourced some silicone with a 90 degree bend, fed it over the loom and over the sensor, I used a electrical shroud to size it down to the loom, so there will be no contactable edge.

That now looks fantastic - i'd even suggest you don't need the little hoop, but as you have it, its safer to keep it.
