Phoenix Inn, Hartley Wintney - New Year's Day

Just in case Southern Locosters aren't aware of it there's the annual meet there on Tuesday 1st.
A general free-for-all with lots of classics, rods and sundry other two and four wheel vehicles.
Normally kicks off around 1000hrs until early afternoon.
Location is London Road, Phoenix Green, Hartley Wintney, RG27 8RT
Probably best to arrive from the Basingstoke direction as the Eastern approach becomes very busy.
Mrs Pewe and I will be there in a Red, Moss stickered Eunos (MX5) - see you there?
Happy New Year to all, Pewe10

I am off to Brooklands in the morning but may swing by in the afternoon in my Alfa.

I will be going to Brooklands Museum but for those who fancy the Hartley Wintney meet the weather is looking good too.

I would however still look out of the window in the morning.

I only turned up for an hour but it was a bit quiet at the Phoenix.

Brooklands was rammed though.

Jim, you must have been there very early or very late.
We bowled up there (after a bit of a blat) at about 1100hrs and it was rammed to the extent the traffic was tailing back almost into Hartley Wintney.
There seemed to be an ever-changing mix of cars as peops arrived, kicked tyres for an hour and then departed only to be replaced by yet more interesting machinery.
Next year?
Cheers, Pewe10
