M&S caterham r/c car with pics!

hi all i have finished modding my caterham r/c model i know we all like pics so hers a few lol


it started life looking like this


stripped and in primer,rollcage being fabricated




cage complete

lick of paint

job done






wot do ya fink?

Looks good!

Any performance mods?

Having played a little with mine it could really do with...

More power - obviously
A diff in the rear axle
Better steering geometry (very poor as standard)
Better remote range
Lights for night driving

...wait a minute I want a proper RC car with suspension and everything!

Still for £7.50 it was a bargain and it's kept no. 1 nipper amused for a while.

only have done the engine upgraded on mine, so far

there is christmas

those mirrors will fail iva with that cage...

what did you use for motor upgrade? the rollcage weighs alot so i have def slowed it down

at the moment, just the same physical size motor, just a high spinning motor, i got of ebay it nows does do-nuts, and not so controller able round corners, the back steps out.

the next motor will be bigger and better

Is it still digital with the steering IE either on or off or are the "new" ones proportional? The one we got last year was either full lock one way or the other....
