The mental gymnastics a landlord will employ to justify immoral actions is clinically fascinating. Just because something is legal doesn't make
it moral.

I put my bit of paper in the box this morning.
Beware of the Goldfish in the tulip mines. The ONLY defence against them is smoking peanut butter sandwiches.

Was so hoping that Bush would be assassinated that really would have made my day, I'd have had a party or something

^^^ maybe so but do I have any influence over any of those events? None at all, well unless I buy a gun and pop off Bush which is not likely to
happen.

Aside from the politics of it all, I'm having a sh*t time at the moment but the thought of all the rednecks waking up to the fact their country
is now governed by a black man has made me smile this morning
I would imagine though that the security operation around him will have to be IMMENSE sadly

This ^ McCain just wanted more war. The very fact that McCain sang "Bomb bomb bomb, bomb bomb Iran" to the tune of Baraba Anne by the
Beachboys shows he's not fit to be president. He's a moran, he's not president. Good.

What a load of BS.
Talk about broken promises...

...and that utterly loopy 'pro-life unless you happen to be a bear, in which case where's my rifle' woman standing behind him
shouting 'BANG' a lot so she can run the world when he inevitably has a cardiac. The world has enough problems as it is, having an
unhinged christian fundamentalist in charge of nuclear weapons doesn not make for a bright future
Can you tell i'm quite relieved Obama won?

Personally I've been sick to death of the whole presidential election thing for the last few months, to the point where I avoid watching or
reading the news. It's been flogged to death. I can't understand why any British person is even remotely interested, apart from those who
have family or other ties in America.

Oh ya know - just the future of the planet and stuff
Glad sanity has prevailed - good on them. I echo Martyn's sentiments wholeheartedly. Every time Palin/McCain opened their mouths I feared for
the world!
I just hope Obama is as awesome as President Palmer was
