fitting soft boot cover

got a soft boot cover, got the press studes etc but whats the best way to fit the press stud cup onto the fiberglass of the car? or is it worth going for velcro and not bothering with studs at all?

Small head rivets. And put some small washers (or a length of tube) over the wire bit of the rivet (otherwise you won't be able to get the rivet gun nozzle flush with the inside of the pop stud (you'll see what I mean when you try to do it!!!!).....
