Steering wheel buttons.

Does anyone have any experience with steering wheel buttons such as

from Sparco or Momo?

I'm thinking of getting one so I can scroll through the displays on my DigiDash2 without removing my hand from the wheel.

Or this

first thing you need to know is if the device you want to connect to has inputs for this kind of buttons....??

does it has a connector which provides suchs extern buttons???

lateron there are steeringwheels which use the horn copper ring inside the original wheel... (also using 2 brushes)...
you can split them up but would only be able to provide 2 pulldown signals to your device.

any button more or you will need an extern cable.

(if you can use multiplexing) you could mount an extra button (haveing 3)..

Yes, there is a D connector on the back of the display unit (I believe the cable is now supplied as part of the package).
I'm planning on using a length of coiled cable .
