Tools Heads Up
Hiya all,
Just to give you all a heads up on some tools going cheap (or is it the budgie that goes cheap?)
Rachet
Spanners
Tool Set
Both have a Lifetime Guarantee but the Guarantee doesn't cover misuse or wear and tear on the rachet mechanism.

That is dirt cheap for the quadbox spanners . They are identical to the Draper ones I'm trying to sell that cost me £16.75 plus vat , which is
suposed to be a special Promotion trade Price 
Retail these are suposed to be £60 from Draper, no wonder I cant sell them even at £25
I'm beginning to hate Halfords

The usual story - none in stock in a 40 mile radius and not available for home delivery- is this why we don't use the Halfords trade card very
much?

I just thought I'd phone first , to be sure they have them before I go - and they have run out
So I checked the site again - and........nothing anywhere  The store search only wants to go as far as Stoke-on-trent )

Just a word of warning. I reserved a set this morning only to get a call from the store and hour or so later to tell me that they had none and
hadn't had any for quite some time. It would appear that the computer system isn't completely up to date

Still a current line on Draper , if they become a discontinued line and significantly cheeper I'll give you all a heads up . Sorry if I'm
crossing the line on trading on the site . Did intend to move to trader status but been too busy lately.
I'll look into it later in the month honest !!

I preordered 2 sets online from my local branch (Gravesend)
just been up there to collect them.....
None in stock.
So I kicked off big time...
Demanding something else to replace them. After all I had driven 30 miles to get them.....ish .;.......well maby 5 miles.
So they gave me these for £10
not bad Hu? £39.99 retail

Similar story for me - a phone call from one store to tell me it wasn't actually in stock, reserved one from another store, when I got there one

Damm. I'm obviously not as good at haggling. The Leigh branch "misplaced" my set reserved on the internet and would only let me
have the big set for £20 - spose not too bad a deal, was on sale at £39.99 reduced from £79.99
