I have one of them and I've lifted zetec's in and out no problem. It has a loop hook to increase the lifting weight

Looks very much like this, which we bought one of a while back.
- We use it to lift a boat against the garage roof, but its s decent bit of kit.

As said, the two numbers are its two rated lifting amounts. Depending if you use the pulley to double it over or not.

Remember they're England only shops Dave.
Hopefully you have some reason to be down there and can pick one up. Then you can do the Zil Mod for a cost of around £20. Makes it so much more useful, especially when you start howking that new engine in.

P.S. If you still have the welder to get sorted out, I can do the trolley for you if you decide you want to do the whole gantry thing.

You can run them in single cable or double cable mode (half's lift distance - but still will do the height of the garage) The rating is for each mode
