You may remember me posting about a week ago that my Locost has been kicked out into the garden

She just phoned me........

Yup she's pranged it
drove it into a post in the carpark at work.

Make sure you take a photo of the damage. (To occasionally remind her.) Then insist that she obviously has a job parking in tight spaces, so she had better not put her car in the garage, EVER again.

No - she will want somewhere nice and warm to repair the car.

I'd recommend the dealers

The fact that she's phoned to warn you means it's BAD...

Bad enough !!!

N/S headlight gone, N/S wing folded in,
Front bumper ripped off,

Other than that it's fine.

Mind you it was as she said "In her blind spot"

That's why there is soo much front end damage !!!!!!!!!.

I suspect you'll find that in actual fact that the garage is not actually 'mine' but is in fact 'ours' and you are being very selfish in wanting a whole room to yourself....... at least that's apparently where I'm getting confused every time I raise a mild objection to suggestions of fitness equipment/tumble dryers/freezers etc etc appearing in my (oops 'our' ) shed

It's too bad you lads are lodged so close together, the house has a two car garage. One space is for the wife, the other my Jeep and the garden tractor, the Locost is in the barn 30 metres away, too far to walk, and the phone is off the hook when I don't need it. Only took me 30 years to get that straight.

Souns like a great setup, and one which I aspire to have one day - just need about £1m to buy a house with enough land for that sort of thing here!

Maybe I should move to Canada...

Until this whole recession thing started that would have bought you a small house or flat with maybe a garage or 1 parking space in the UK!

Depends where you live. Up here that (even at a 2:1 rate) gets 4 bed detached with garage on a "good" estate.
