can someone give me the dimension from brake drum to brake drum for an escort axle, thanks, dave,

my escort axle was a good fit over a 4 foot wide sheet of ply, so 48 inches from backplate to backplate

Just measured mine at 51.5", my spare is
0.25" shorter ???
