it's no different to a production car

only a warning light required for the main beam & the fog light & the indicators flashing

Not quite, technically a type-approved car is required to have a tell-tale for side-lights too, but this can be omitted if the instrument panel lighting goes on and off with the side lights.

You do not need a warning light for side-lights.

You need for SVA... High beam warning and illumination of the speedo.
