swiftcover - experiences good or bad?

Bell (current insurer) want £ 267.15 for the tin top.

Swiftcover want £ 243.14.

£ 24 difference, whcih is quite a few big macs.

So is it worth changing over to swiftcover? Anyone used/is using them and have any experiences, good and bad, to report?

Don't know if it's true, but I heard that you will loose your no claims bonus if you claim for a windscreen with Swiftcover. I went with A-plan, almost as cheap as swiftcover.

Used them for two years - be careful if you have more than 5 years NCB. They ratchet it back to 5 years anyway. If yo then make a claim hey take two off so, if you have 7 years NCB when you go to Swiftcover and claim, you'll be left with 3 years!

I used them for a couple of years, no probs, but never made a claim, subsequently got a cheaper quote from Liverpool Victoria who I have both tintops with now

I no longer run Furore Products or Furore Cars Ltd, but would still highly recommend them for Acewell dashes, projector headlights, dominator headlights, indicators, mirrors etc, best prices in the UK! Take a look at http://www.furoreproducts.co.uk/ or find more parts on Ebay, user names furoreltd & furoreproducts, discounts available for LCB users.
Don't forget Stainless Steel Braided brake hoses, made to your exact requirements in any of around 16 colours. http://shop.ebay.co.uk/furoreproducts/m.html?_dmd=1&_ipg=50&_sop=12&_rdc=1

I have used swift cover for two years, and have had to make a claim when my wife's car was written off. Very easy to deal with although it was a non fault accident, no chance of it being the wife's fault. So very easy.

Pete.

We went to buy a new car and on the way SWMBO called Swiftcover, who were her insurers, to get a quote. They wanted to charge her to give a quote over the phone! They told her to go home and check on the interweb!!
