don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

The gearbox is attached to a silvertop 2.0L Zetec. As I understand this is a standard bolt pattern. Are there multiple types of alloy housings with different bolt patterns?

Thanks

yes there are, there are two for vauxhall redtop bolt pattern for example. These will be clearly marked though, so I wouldn't worry about buying the wrong thing.

RS2000 Bellhousing

I have an RS2000 aluminium bellhousing to sell. It will couple a type 9 gearbox to a Zetec engine.
However it has prevoiusly had cracks poorly welded and needs this work rectifying.
£25, if its any good to you.

Cheers,

Mal

Thanks mal. does that have the double sided starter motor? if so it's not going to fit in my tunnel.

I need one with a starter on the right (as you look at the bell housing from the front (big open end))

Thanks

Dan

I bought one and it doesn't fit, the car that is. Connects the zetec to the type 9 but was too wide for the tunnel.

The standard type 9 release arm doesn't fit and I don't know what does, never bothered to find out.

Its now going to get chopped up and made to fit a Toyota Supra box

Rally Design have them check THIS!
