is this a daft idea-car storage
I am keeping my mk in my sis garage at the mo but am not using it much because of the faff of getting to it so would like it on my drive really but
still want to keep it dry and secure, was thinking does anyone keep theres in one of those enclosed car trailers? would keep it dry and i could
concrete a post in behind it to stop it being driven away, also doubles up as transport, is this to expensive? just think it's a little less
conspicuous than a car under a cover for all to see? any thoughts?

Its easy to nick if they chop the post...
What about a wedge of cheese shaped little hut, there was one on here a while ago, it was covered in felt... I can't find it via search.
Maybe someone with a sharper brain than me can remember the OP.

Depending on your situation, and the neighbourhood, you could use a 20ft container. Dry, easy to lock. You could even make a working bench, light
tubes, etc. Pimp the container to suit your demands

I think Andy (Rizla) who was on here a few years ago had a small wooden lock up built in his front garden, pretty sure he had one of the 1st
MNR's that mark made.
Might be worth a search for a picture if they still exist on here ?

Mine lives in a Brian James Sprint Shuttle most of the time, lovely bit of kit, but not Locost. Lovely retreat for the car when in the paddock and
it's doing what the UK weather does best.
If you go the enclosed trailer route, just remember that if it's static for long periods, the tyres do perish and the brakes do seize.
Other options, look at 7.5t units at the moment, many for sale. Too costly to use the thing (the reason why), but as a movable driveway/garden
ornament. It's what I'd do, but I have enough hassle with the neighbours......

The only thing to consider with an expensive race shuttle type trailer is that it would probably be more desirable to the thieving b*st*rd community
than the actual car is! Could end up losing the car just because they fancied the look of your trailer.
