Ebay timewasters
Sold a set of wheels at the weekend.
Had advertised them elsewhere - another forum where I'm not terribly well known, so for the peace of mind of any buyer, I offered to do it
through ebay.
One bloke asked all the questions, got all the pics and then eventually agreed to buy at which point I put the ebay advert up and he hit buy it
now.
The useless ba**ard has now completely disspeared off the face of the earth without actually bothering to pay and I have a queue of prospective buyers
for the wheels.
Why on earth would anyone do this ?
Useless fe**er

i'd just sell them to the next bidder and when he comes back to you, just say well i tried to contact you and you were no where to be found so a
sold to the next person!
simple as
or
send him an e-mail saying if you dont contact me within 24 hrs i will sell to the next highest bidder, at least that way you have given him chance to
reply

Unless you want -ve feedback, you will have to wait for the time to run out on when they should pay. Or, you can cancel the sale, but it might turn
nasty if he is genuine!

I've already emailed him asking politely if there is any problem - no answer.
I have further emailed him asking if there is any problem or if he wishes to back out in which case it isn't a problem - no answer.
I'm being as reasonable as I can.
Regards cancelling the sale, none of the reasons available for cancelling truly reflect the situation.
I have to give it until the 23rd apparently.

I'd have to agree with 'oldtimer'. Give it a bit more time, the buyer may well have a genuine reason for not getting back in
touch.

Pull his contact details and give him a ring, suprising how a call from a "real" human being can get 'em moving.
If their details are wrong report em
They'll get a message from ebay once you've asked for their details too
