are there differences in heads for a 1300 or 1600?
If not I have 2 'normal head' and a semi-race head. In Scotland though, but postage wouldn't be more than £13ish.

they are interchangeable, only difference will be valve sizes.
1300 has smaller valves that 1600 GT. I think 1600 has same as 1300 unless there were 3 different valve sizes.

Apologies for the hijack- but I'm also on the lookout for a replacement head. Once Richard's made his choice I'll follow up if
that's okay.
Thanks Ian

Hi Richard,
Thanks for the offer
Basically I'm just trying to get out on the road - with no specific requirements - other than a head in reasonable condition that I can pretty
much slap straight on. Anything more than that would be a bonus.
On my current head one spark plug the thread sheared and another has seized and will probably shear if I force it. My conclusion was that the
cheapest and simplest option would be to replace the head - by the way you'd be welcome to it if you could put it to any use.. .I don't
have the skills or tools to work on the plugs and can't see as economical to get a machine shop to look at it.
Let me know how you get on - any ideas on time scales?
Thanks & Cheers
Ian
