Aprilia V-Twin

Does anybody know if the Aprilia engine V990 is waste spark on the ignition system.

The reason I am asking is I want to run tradtional clocks not the bike instruments clocks. I need the waste spark to run a tradtional rev counter. It's a bit different as it a V-twin rather than a four cyclinder.

Has anyone had experience running tradtional clocks on a BEC.

Any suggestions. Thanks

I am building a car with a Honda V twin,

the way I see it you can't have wasted spark due to the fact you only have two cylinders. you could have wasted spark on the front cylinder but not the rear becuase you would fire the mixture before it was needed to
