MNR Aeroscreen

How much protection does the aeroscreen actually provide? I'm hearing mixed reports, some say they are suprisingly effective at diverting the wind and flies over your head, others are saying they make little if any difference.

So what are your experiences/thoughts?

Cheers,
Mark (newbie)

Mine really works, it does exactly what it should do and deflects the wind straight over my head. Although I am 5ft10 and my seats sit a little lower than Iain's.

I wouldnt go back to not having one

better than without by far though but not safe for driving without decent eyewear on sub 40mph short distance or otherwise with a lid

Time for a change!

i have tried driving mine with, and without the aeroscreen, and there is definately a difference.

im 5'10 and have seat runners. with no screen the wind hits me from my neck upwards which you can really feel with a helmet on, with the screen fitted the wind hits me just at the top of my forehead which is much better

I used seat runners from a mk3 fiesta. They have the ones that only actually lock on one side so I got both the locking sides so one from each seat. I faced both handles inwards so they pointed at each other just under the seat and then found a nice bit of ally tube at B&Q that joined both handles together, push fitted on. They only added 20mm to the seat height.

My aeroscreen did make a difference.
