at last i seemed to have solved my running problems!!!

went to newark last time and had major running probs HERE after trying numerous solutions listed in no particular order below, iv finally got to a point where the car is running perfect.

changed everything here
fuel filter
fuel pump
dizzy cap
points
condensor
rotor arm
coil
leads
carb gasket set
carb diaphragm
silencer (because id recently changed it for a shiny one)

and got no where from anything same problem was always there.

then this morning my dad said lets check the valve clearances?!

bingo each one was out not much be all of them were out by small amounts

re-set them and bingo the engine purrs beautifully and runs superb

guess who is going out alllll day tomorrow

I am pleased for you that on the surface it seems alright but let's be honest, its not sorted properly is it!

I mean you still have to change gear below 10,000 revs every single time...

That's just crazy!?!?!?!?!?!?!
