Anyone fancy giving me a ride?

I'm looking at buying an Indy R1 in the next couple of months, but the missus wants me to buy an Elise S2 (although it's up to me..... honest!).

Is anyone close to Fife/Edinburgh or Wigan/Manchester up for giving me a short ride (as passenger ofc) in a BEC? Want to see how big a smile is on my face and whether I can be convinced beyond doubt that this is what I'm after.

I can give you a ride in my 1.6 Leon in exchange!!!!!!

Can't help with the MK but I can do a ride in a Fury R1. I'm in Hyde/Stalybridge (east of Manchester) though.

My missus wouldn't allow a detour to Newcastle on our journey damn her!

adithorp - I'll be spending a few days down in Wigan maybe towards the end of next week/beginning of the week after. Might this be an option?

I'm working Sat morning (15th) then going out in the afternoon and out all day Sun 16th. Friday or Monday would be possible.

Mark,

My thoughts last year started to flow towards a Vauxhall VX220 Turbo / Lotus Elise, same sort of thing you have done.

I had a run out in an MK Midi a few weeks ago and Im still smiling now !!

The noise and performance are spectacular, forget the Lotus slant on things they are duffers...
