Confused a bit......
The Pinto is a single overhead can 8 Valve
The DOHC is an 8 valve
There is a 16 Valve DOHC as fitted to the late series 3 Escort RS200
or there is the Cosworth.
But basicaly if the reverse on the gearbox is over to the left and up its a Type 9 so no mods needed
if the reverse is over to the right and down its an MT75 and the chassis will need to be modified.
Haynesw roadster web site has chassis mods for the MT75 box and these dimentions can be used for the original chassis with a little care.
