Parcel Service

Has anyone used United Parcels as advertised on Ebay?
I need to send a m/c wheel from Scotland to Dorset and it needs to be insured for £1500.
Bill.

No, but I just used Parcel2go for a 7KG parcel to Germany insured for £200, for £25.

DHL are the carrier and collected on time as booked.

Are not most of these agents? I've used similar and UPS have ended up delivering it - at less than UPS rates. Insurance seems good value for what must be a very special wheel.

The problem is the insurance. Parcel 2go only goes up to £500, DHL the same..
The wheel is off a 1957 AJS 7R. Mag alloy with TLS Brake.

Re manufactured for about £2500.
I've just sold this one and need to get it delivered.
United parcel offer enhanced insurance at a cost but I wanted to know if they were good or not so good.
