We stuck one of those engines in a mk........

Its a good engine for power ect but the form factor is just so wrong in a seven chassis.
Its bloody tall and you need a custom sump as well as severe mods to the airbox to get it in.
Wires a plenty good luck

me Id be going ZX12

I have one in my Phoenix race car, it certaily is tall with the overhead injectors, but worth keeping.
First stop, Andy Bates for one of his very good sumps. He is the man who knows

Strange I spoke to Andy on Friday about one of these in a MAC 1 (se7en) kit car. The engine is tall thats been confirmed. A custom made billet sump inc baffel plate and modified pick up is £450. Special air box incorpatrating mounts for the second line of injecters is £500. Not cheap but you know it will work.

It's very tall, I'll tell you that.

I've seen some quite horrible installations where lots of head, related injection crap and airbox have stuck proudly out of the bonnet line.

Suggest you talk to and buy anything that AB may offer to reduce the height of this thing.
