WTD: Sierra engine mounts

Hi All,

Probably one of the first parts that goes in the bin for most of you, but I am after a pair of original Sierra pinto engine mounts.

I know they are not commonly used in 7s as aftermarkets are preferred but I built my car using the original hydraulic sierra mounts. Problem is over the years they have worn out, the hyraulic fluid has turned to mud and they allow far too much lateral engine movement.

I can't find a pic of what I am after but they are the round type with a metal cap and large rubber bottom, with M10?? studs on top and bottom (top is much longer than bottom). From what I can gather they were fitted to saphires and certain hatches. Not sure which. Look very similar to cosworth mounts.

Anyone got some knocking about that have escaped the skip/tip?

Unless someone can suggest a better alternative that would be a (nearly) direct replacement?

Thanks in advance

Rich

That would be great if you could have a look. I don't get near the car in the week so weekend is fine.

Thanks

Rich

Heh, I've just sold carlknight1982 some really nice Sierra rubber mounts (with the great big thick disc rubbers) ones, blasted and really well painted (along with the MK Mounts). They wern't hydraulic, but they were pretty.

He may not need them as I've included some MK mounts so drop him a PM.
