side repeaters

i have come up with alternative mounting position for the side repeaters...

i have a pair of LED repeaters on the scuttle, but not sure they would meet IVA standards.

So have now fitted a LED into the front headlight

only £8.00 the pair of ebay and seem to work ok

any comments gratefully received led siderepeaters.jpg

After my last post i have been giving it some thought..

That looks good.

Do the repeaters need to be E marked ? I havnt looked it up in the manual yet.

they are approx 300mm from widest part of car,so should be ok...

pretty sure they are E marked they are this light http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260530759547&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT but from a differeny supplier so should be IVA friendly.

Do these need any sort of mods to the wiring (in line resistors or anything) or do they just wire straight in?

Cheers

Chris

Just checked IVA manual. There is no mention of a requirement for Indicators / Repeaters to be 'E' marked. So looks like a good solution.
