guardian app is quite good - bit more depth to the articles than sky news app and you can pick the topics you want to see.

Eurosport app is good.

Redlaser is pretty cool, though not used it in anger yet.

copilot is a reasonable sat nav app, but sometimes gets a bit muddled.

got most of the above but,....

the best one for me is "around me"

Gives you restaurants, cash points, petrol stations etc local to your gps position, and gives you a map on how to get there.
Plus you get their phone number/email etc
