anyone else enjoyed a cloudy but dry driving day?

Just had a good laugh in the car, bit chilly, but enjoyed it.

Took a friend out and then my sister - both had fun.

Popped out to Maplins in mine. Cold but nice.

While I was warming the oil I got overtaken by a newish 911s cabriolet on the local bypass. I have just sorted the ignition (megasquirt) and the engine was cold so I didn't go for it.

I'd like to know whether next time if I were comfy with the engine, and in a sufficiently low gear whether it would have been worth a punt (up to the legal limit of course)?

~140bhp and 460kg. I suspect its not enough.

Any thoughts?

Matt

Weather not great here. Saw a guy in a Focus Convertible and thought he was brave, in more ways than one.

A Hummer tried to race me on the way back from the SG7 meet. I left him in a cloud of blue smoke!!!

I ventured out in the Silverstone this morning hoping that the very fine drizzle would abate. It didn't, so it turned out to be a short, careful blast.
I hope it's better next weekend as we are planning a trackday at Teeside in the Phoenix.
Geoff.

Yep,

Yesterday for about an hour and again today as I renewed my insurance and taxed it for the summer. I did find a long stretch of muddy road though so it needs a clean already!
