Diff Modification.

Is it possible/feasible to convert a diff with bolt on type shafts to use push in shafts?

I was hoping it might be as simple as removing the flanged output stub (shown in picture) to allow push in shafts to be used.

Cheers,

Chris.

just remove the back cover of the diff then remove the clips holding them in.

Assuming that it is not an LSD....

The LSD uses a longer splined left hand output shaft.

Thanks for the quick responses.

Both diff's are non-lsd so it's looking promising.

However, when you say about different size shafts do you mean diameter (i,e. spline etc) or length (or both).

Cheers,

Chris.

Wack each bolt head twice with a 2lb hammer before trying to undo. Works like a charm.
