Vdo gauges

I looked at oil temp/oil pressure/volt gauges from Audi 80/Golf for my car.

They'll work no problem with the correct senders, although the speedo may be a bit trickier.

I got my full VDO dashboard from here http://www.lowtension.co.uk/ - look under "Instrument Kits | Gauges". They also do VDO senders.

The kit was £290, vs £500 else where.

They were very helpful and even switched the water temp gauge for an oil temp gauge as my engine is oil/air cooled.

If you use an electronic speedo, you can adjust the speed by using one of these http://www.blackrobotics.com/index.htm
or these http://www.speedohealer.com/eng/intro.htm

The VDO speedo I got from Lowtension can be calibrated to suit, so you then wouldn't need the yellowbox etc.

Hope that helps
