2010 MK Indy R for sale
As everyone knows i have recently finished my mk indy r
unfortunately with new legislation in place it is very hard to get insurance on bike powered cars if you are under then age of 21 so regrettably my mk
is up for sale
Spec
Mk Indy R Deluxe kit - inboard suspension
Full Roll cage
powder coated chassis
Electric Reverse
sierra 3.62 lsd
new driveshafts
protech adjustable shocks
polo radiator
2001 R1 5jj on carbs bought from yorkshire engines ( so it is a sound engine)
Innovite 15 inch wheels with brand new Toyo t1rs
odyssey redtop gel battery
koso speedo - with shift light oil temp, water temp and other info
oil pressure gauge and fuel gauge
tom tom gps ( built in)
gear position indicator
theres probably something ive missed as this car has quite a high spec
its registered on a 2010 plate and has not been driven on the road yet
Price
the car is currently up for sale for £10,000 ono
which if you think about it is a bargain for a high spec finished kit brand new and on the road ready to be driven
if you are seriously interested or know anyone that is give me a shout
either u2u me on my mobile number is 07738689201
Jack

I was insured on my MK Indy R1 when I was 20 by equity redstar via Adrian Flux - there is hope yet!
As a policy holder, I had my mum and dad on the insurance as well, 1500 miles pa, third party only, it came to about £900.
Hope that helps

its a year and a half till i'm 21 and it would just kill me inside knowing that shes sat there and i cant use her
ive already got another project lined up possibly which will have over twice the horsepower and a turbo and its the car ive always wanted so yes its a
shame to see it go but i could always build another one when i'm older

If you are like most people, you will get older. Be patient!
My car is unlikely to see the road for six more months, which means I miss the summer season. I am also sending it thousands of km away for storage.
I've had a roadworthy car for months, but cannot drive it anywhere because it isn't officially registered/insured etc.
Insure it under your parents and go to track days. That's what I would do. If you need money, well, good luck with the sale! Your car is
beautiful!

i would trailor it to trackdays until i could afford to insure it myself looks a cracking car be a shame to put all the effort into building it
without at least having some fun

everyone keeps saying trailer it to trackdays and be patient but before i started the build i approached insurance companies and it was said it would
be fine for me at 19 for a 1000 cc bike powered kit , but now they either say no or take the P*ss big style i built it for the road specifically
track days are not my kind of thing i built it to go out for a drive when the suns out and trance all over boy racers,
so to wait another year and a half and still only have the power of a 1000cc is not worth it when i could have something more powerful
so at the moment i am just going to sell up and wait a year to start another build

Looked really nice at the show Jack, any luck in selling?
Nice to see you getting a drive round the show, not tempted to keep it?

I thought it was a beauty from the photos (above) and I have not changed my mind having seen it in the flesh. I thought it was a cert to sell at the
show - looked a stunner to me.
If I hadn't just bought an Indy myself, I may well have gone for this regardless of it being over my budget. hmmmmm..........I'm sorely
tempted to eBay mine.
