Chassis Kit or welder?

Hi all

Just a quick poll to get you warmed up for may the 6th...

Should I buy a chassis kit from Saturn or a welder and the metal to make it myself (bearing in mind the welder will cost a bit more but it'll be there for me to use after the event...)

I'd say welder, but there again I've also had some dealings with the guys at Saturn and can highly recommend them.

You could always buy a welder and and flat pack chassis from Saturn.

A kit if you want to get driving and a welder if you would sooner go hide in the garage whilst the crap soaps are on

Do Saturn make a kit for a MX5 donor? If not, you are better off buying 9 lengths of 25x25 from S J Andrews, a few hacksaw blades and getting on with it.

Having said that, I would definitely buy suspension brackets, not difficult to make but what a bore!

Ahhh cool, I know where to come if it doesn't fit together

But seriously, I emailed a few weeks back with an enquiry and haven't had a reply - could you stick a firework under whoever answers tech enquiries please? It would have been from matt(at)spiderwebdesign.co.uk
