Removeable Full Cage???

I fancy doing some trackdays (maybe 2-3 per year ), but would really like a full cage..

is it feasable to have a bolt in rollcage, which can be removed for road use ?

I wouldn't like to put big money down, but I bet you're at least as likely to need a cage on a road car as on a track car...

By all means fit a removeable one if that's your bag, but just leave it in unless it becomes a real pain in the arse...

Mine is removable, it's a modified Caterham cage that I've welded new mounts onto, but it will be staying firmly in place for road use! At times I feel more in need of a cage on the road than I do on the track....

Mine's also removable [though it's a bit of a task). Fixes at 4 points [above the rear shocky top mounts and into a threaded lug welded into the chassis at the front].

I'm sure it's possible, but I'd think seriously about it as if you're worried about rollover, unless you're racing wheel-to-wheel with other open wheel cars (which you won't be on track days), you're very probably more likely to roll on the road. (Vehicles with low CoG don't usually roll unless they're 'tripped', and there's not much to trip a car on the average circuit).
