Hayabusa Regulator / Rectifier up to it.... ?
Is the standard one ok to support a basic 12 volt ignition and lighting system in a kit car or does someone recommend an alternative?

Standard one is fine.
eta mount it on a heat sink though, I put mine on a 5mm ally plate.
