MK INDY R1 FOR SALE £5K ono

2004 Registered MK INDY on G-Reg age related plate.

Low mileage 2003 R1 5PW Engine from Yorkshire Engines
Newly Powder coated Front Wishbones
Cobra Roadster Seats – 100 miles only
MK Exhaust System
TRT Propshaft from Dunning and Fairbank
Powercommander (USB)
Speedo healer
R1 clocks
R1 fuel pump mounted in tank with low fuel warning
Savage switches
Sierra switchgear
7" LSD (3.62)
Protech shocks
Sierra Disks all round
Options of Aeroscreen or Perspex low-screen setups.
Spare set of Focus alloy wheels included in sale.
Toyo R888 part worn for track use and Goodyear F1 brand new for road use.
12months MOT and 5 months Tax
This car is mechanically excellent but the body work is suffering from a couple of scratches here and there, as you can see from the pictures it looks great from 10feet away as the gel coat is nice and shiney but there are couple of bolt holes where older lights and components have been fitted. But this is reflected in the price as you wont find another MK R1 at this price.
Interior has been completely refreshed this winter with new seats and vinly interior.
Looking for offers around £5K.
May considered taking an MX-5 or Z3 as part-exchange and some small cash either way.
Car is in Barrow-in-Furness , South Cumbria.

u2u me with any questions please.

Some pics here of car with aeroscreen on http://www.locostbuilders.co.uk/viewthread.php?tid=114440

Thanks for the constructive observations, I shall of course swap the wheels at no extra cost to the buyers.

Don't suppose you'd be interested in a p/x with a nissan 180sx (s13)?
It's pretty quick running around 260-270bhp but has a roof so you can use it occasionally!

Yes they do run them backwards in the wet in the R300 race series. Gives better grip apparently.

In theory yes, but with you being in the opposite corner of county may make it a tough deal. Put if you got some pics and price in mind then let me see them.
